Can't Find My MXT:look:

Nancy-IL

Well-known member
We received a few inches of snow during the night. 7 inches to be exact and then another inch today and it's still snowing lightly. I think it's going to be a while before my MXT will see the light of day and it surfaces again. Here's a few pictures of the General and little Maggie playing in the path that Larry shoveled for them:

Maggie was sure having fun running on the deck with all the snow, but I think Larry might have to find another chair to sit back and enjoy a smoke. :surrender: .

Beautiful pictures.. looks like maggie and general like the snow. Hey, you could have larry shovel where you want to MD. LOL we haven't got any snow yet here in southern NH but its coming soon I'm sure. I hope you, Larry, General and Maggie had a great Thanksgiving... HH Jack

That's not deep enough to stop detecting yet!!! My rule is a foot or more!!! My wife says I'm not wrapped tight????

Yes, he has recovered quite well but still has some bad days with his knee. Few and far between though. Thanks and take care, Nancy

Jack, We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Even the dogs were there. Thank you. We hope you did also. I won't make Larry shovel me a path to go detecting.........it's bad enough that he has to do it for the dogs to go. Know what I mean? No, our dogs aren't spoiled. The snow is on it's way to your home.....be careful and take care, Nancy

Hey Nancy you keep that snow over there its still dry and cold over here . I stopped hunting as soon as it got cold over here , I'm to old for bad weather hunting makes my bones hurt like Generals my knees are bad . When I use to be married we had two Yorkies and I always had to shovel bathroom paths for them when it snowed .

Harold

Harold, I'll try to keep the snow here, but no promises. ;) Your little Yorkies would have been buried in this snow. :surrender: Stay warm, Nancy

It was 70 degrees here in Texas today. Spent most the day out with the MXT and Bigfoot. Netted $28 in clad.

Tomorrow it will be 51 for a high. The weather changes quickly here.

WOW~~Great amount of clad. Keep it up and you'll have a super year! I love my BigFoot for "cladding" and getting close to playground equipment. Try to stay warm in that cold weather...... and HH, Nancy

I don't feel for ya Nancy, we got 14" last week, but the good news is that is is almost gone. Just in time for the next one to hit, & I have permission to hunt the location of the first fort built in our area. I might have to wait for spring. HH

That should be no problem for you to find Nancy. Just get out your MXT and...oh yeah, sorry..well, there's always spring.

WOW, 14 inches of snow! THAT'S A LOT! I bet it will be hard for you to wait till Spring to hunt that spot. Good luck, keep warm and HH, Nancy

It is going to be hard to keep warm today, we are going out with the kids to cut xmas trees today. We will have to go the the mountain where there is about 3' of snow. Ho Ho Ho well the kids & grand kids have fun so grampa will go along with it.

I'll be satisfied with the breaks in the rain as the NW Oregon winters allow a lot of days for detecting. I hope your winter weather is brief this year and spring will arrive early.
