Cant find a post on ID Excel

There was a post on the ID Excel about settings.I just got this ID and going to start Nancy out with it.Will the ID be something like my C$,I know there not the same,I was woundering to think in C$ mode,3D mode or have a new thinking mode,ID.Just need some ideas on what to start with, or just use preset and play with it.I was going to only take two units with us tonight and she told me no,"We are going to take all three,some work better then others."
 
The number system is pretty much the same as your C$ (but does not go past +36). You will not find things like Threshold & stuff like that. Sensitivity is all you gutta worry about pretty much. G. Balance is same....Pinpoints the same. Discrimination is set up a bit different. Instead of doing 99 like the C$ to eliminate iron, put disc on 00. This way anything negative (or below 0) will not sound off. I would start with sens. 5 or 6 & just have fun....The Excel will "hunt with the big boys" <img src="/metal/html/blush.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":redface">
