:minelab:Found this at a suspected CW training camp. The cannon is brass and about 4" long. Looking for info! Thanks and HH!
 
My thirst thought was a pretty cool signal cannon. Those can be very small but looking at the scale I dont think they made them as small as what you found although I am no expert. I might just be a souvenier decorative item but either way its pretty cool and you are now one of the few who can say they have found a cannon without crossing your fingers. Does it appear to have a working touch hole and be bored all the way out etc?
 
The bore goes all the way to the fuse hole,it looks like it would work. I was told it was a training tool, used to show how to lay out cannons and attact them
