Cannon Coil vs Razorback Coil

New member
What coil is the best for the TDI machine? I can only buy one coil and I want the best one for my money.
Any reviews on the Cannon Coils & Razorbacks would be appreciated. I saw these on a couple of sites. Or is there another coil that works better then these two?

Both work fine but the TDI Dual field works the best.

we like the Razorback coils we have three so far the 3X6 and 8X10 folded 8 and the 10X14 they work good on the TDI Pro the DF are good coils to the 12" DF GB at 81/2 to 9 and the 10X14 GB at 6 we live in E-TENN our ground here is good now all we hunt for is old coins so the smalls target we look for is MM the 3 cent we found one so far the 1/2 dime is 15.5 mm four so far this year get the coil that best what you are hunting for we going to get the razorback 14" this fall we can hit a dime at 18" with the 12" DF or the 10X14 RB coil you got to work it real slow and keep the coil as close to the ground as you can get we hunt slow any way but when we got the TDI Pro we had to get even slower GOOD LUCK AND GOOD HUNTING

I have an early TDI and all I use is the 12-inch df coil that came with the detector.
I guess I do not like to experiment with non-standard coils that did not come with
a detector...
