About 1 1/2 years ago I found a "live" 24 lb Cohorn Mortar.
when it was disarmed, I found 119 lead balls and black powder in the mortar round. I've had in electolysis ever since. A couple of weeks ago I got it out and started getting it ready for display. I thought I'd share the results.
The 4 balls in the corners are some of the lead balls that came out of the shell.
