Canadian Winter

My 2500 and 250 have been sitting in the corner waiting for spring/summer they are starting to develop a complex.
When will this winter end?
It's been 4 months now and no real end in sight.
Spring can't come quick enough for me.

Well, get some lithium batteries in your ACE and go hunt some snow hills where people toboggan. Get some loonies & toonies before the snow melts.
 
Spring on the 20th of March snow should start to melt by then.:rofl:
Last season was able to get out mid April.:detecting:
 
I have some lithium's and I just might take you up on your idea!

I might be passing thru Edmonton around the end of April. If you're around and interested maybe we can meet over a coffee?

The wind has been brutal so maybe once it warms up a tad I'm gonna go tobogganing??/

i have a question, it may seem a little random but, i just got my ace 250 like 3 days ago and when i wave it in the air with no metal in sight i get false signals. I'm thinking that its probably because the sensitivity's all the way up? when i turn the sensitivity down this doesn't happen. I'm kinda n00b when it comes to metal detectors and i just wanted to know if there's something wrong. i have also been getting some false signals in my basement, I live in Vancouver Canada

When you have the sens up to max especially in the house it'll defenately false.
When your ready to hunt outside use the coin mode at 3-4 sens and dig everthing to learn what the ACE is telling you.
Basement hunting because of rebar and electical interference plus all kinds of nails and electrical coduits
will leave you frustrated.
Go outside away from man made obstructions and you'll find falsing will stop.
