Finally a full day off after 7 days straight. A tad chilly out so I left the Freedom 3 Plus home and opted for the Pro. Hit a local park that was a sheet of ice and the tide was halfway down.

Walking and digging was a precarious adventure with my 4th target being my first ring of the year albeit a junker.

Knee was holding out fine but then the Niagara nose began to flow! Well I guess that is why the Lord gave us jacket sleeves! Did have some company besides a flock of seagulls.

After a few more hits along the shoreline it was time to head home. Rather pleased with myself.....and that was rather short lived.

No matter how many mustangs Otto could muster he was stuck. Lord love a duck! Out came the shovel from the trunk. Shovels full of ice and snow were removed each followed by a few cuss words....but Otto would not budge. The shoveling did however make me realize one thing....man am I out of shape. Luckily two men came and added the horsepower necessary for Otto to navigate from the snowbank.

Soaked, but glad that I was once again a happy motorist heading home. On Sackville Drive I got a tad miffed as I saw a handful of vehicles pass a fellow motorist stuck on the icy sidewalk. Taking the next right I parked Otto and grabbed my digging shovel from the trunk, walked back down the road and helped my the motorist get his wheels moving. Before he pulled away I asked him how long he had been stuck to which the replay was about a half hour. Bouy might not drive to well but he has super taste when it comes to hockey teams!

Wish the ring was a junker! Nice of you to help this fellow out. I would have done the same but would have had to give him a few jabs about his hockey team. I grew up in Detroit so I'm a Redwing fan.
