From the land of the Bluenose.....sure is great having Marie home with me but let me tell you me son being together 24/7 does have its moments!

Having said that we had such a moment. A bout of " frayed nerveous tomuchtogetherness" fell upon us. It has but one cure......get the halibut out of the apartment which we did with great haste. Well Marie did I sort of limped behind.

First stop Tim's. Second stop the library where I lucked out on some very watchable flicks.

Third stop was a tot lot with the At Pro sniffing out a few coins.

Fourth stop a local lake!

Mister man it was a tad on the cool side with my voice I'm sure going up a few octaves! Of course the knee was having a hissy snit.

Netted a few more coins and a spiffy racing car dinkie....think it was a twin to mine upon leaving the water!

Must say I was chilled out after me swish. Marie chilled out warming me up!

Bliss sat in and the year's first combo dig was logged.

Good hunt there Leslie.
Good to see that you can get in the water
not like here where there's 3 feet of ice:thumbdown:

Looks very cold mate! You are a braver man then I sir..........good hunt and best of luck with future expeditions.:clapping:

Yes! I bet the cold water was good for soaking your knee in right? Remarkable that you could get in your waders and even attempt that kind of hunt so soon in your recovery! Good On ya! :clapping:
Mud

I can't wait for the 2 feet of snow on top of 3 feet of ice to melt around here. I'll be doing the high tone talk also
