From the land of the Bluenose.....received a most welcomed parcel today from the Uk. Not only did it have a nice stamp on the outside that will grace my collection but enclosed were two copies of the "Searchers" treasure hunting magazine.

My original article had been "culled" and the "Colonial English" edited so that those bouys over the pond cud understand youz! Tickled pink here.

On a very sad note Dad had to put down Tess who was 17. Recall taking her digging on occasions and having her lie in the back seat of Otto and snoring the whole way home. She will be missed

It's hard to lose an old friend...been there.

Congrats on the magazine feature !!

Very nice Leslie, congrats. It's always nice to get positive recognition. Great big pat on the back. Did the pressed pennies I sent to you get there yet.

[size=large]your old friend looks just like mine. mine is belgin cattle dog and aussie sheep dog mix. looks just like yours though. she up there in age. hope she last as long as yours did. i've had to put down more than one old friend, so know the feeling.
congrats on the write-up.

My brother has a Belgian Sheep dog that looks very close yours. Sounds like you two had some good times together. Sorry to hear the news...

Congrats on the magazine article!:beers: That's really great!:clapping: Hey, how can I buy a copy of that here in Texas? Can we subscribe to that mag over here?
So sorry to see about your old friend passing. Nice pic. Looks like a real sweetheart.

Great job Les! The layout of the article is pretty spiffy too. I'd very much like to read your work. Is it available online? Would you consider posting it or emailing it to me?
