From the land of the Bluenose.....had to do a few errands so I threw the AT Pro in the trunk and got the errands done.......lickety split. Stopped at a local park and had a quick fix. I was a three bagger (layers of clothing) so the coldness was no problem. Left the Freedom 3 home as it does not like the cold and will chatter like a bouy doing a polar bear swim in March! Anyway my batteries lasted longer than I did and added a new crushed penny to that collection and one to the mobile manure maker tag collection.

Mighty fine haul! :clapping: You know we get a few of your Canadian pennies down here, boy they sure sing out louder than ours, even higher than a clad dime, so its a heart stopper of a silver sounding signal. I just checked the forecast, seems we will be seeing 30's for another week, snowpiles are hanging in there slowly melting. Glad to see you got out!

I used to have a customer in PCB, Fl that had a machine that made different things out of pennies and he made a good living going to craft shows and running people's pennies thru his machine and charging them a dollar for it. I never thought of a dog tag like that, but you're right. Nice finds, Leslie.

From the land of the Bluenose....pennies have rung out from 72 up to 82........you should hear the wat the Canuck large cents ring up. Happy hunting~

That was a productive quick hunt, Les! Why do I suddenly have a craving for M&Ms??
