:canadaflag:Took my best friend for a walk....dug a century

Was a rough and tumble 12 hour night shift at the half way house as I'm sure everyone was halfway....nuts...myself included. Awoke today and A Bob Marley song came to mind;

Sun is shining the weather is sweet
Makes you want to move your dancing feet.

That was enough incentive and I grabbed my best buddy and his side kick and headed out. The Freedom 3 Plus was in the passenger seat while the Pro took up residence in the back.

Was in the zone at the local school yard . Stopped two hours and a half later............son of a sea horse I was 3 short of a century (100 coins in a single day digging) so out came the Pro for the final 3. Ten minutes later...done in more ways than one.

Mind you when I got home it was a hot shower, hot supper and some super meds (knee took a hissy fit)...ready to "dance" again!

100, that's a satisfying hunt thar. Thought I had a hundred once last yr , counted when I got home.-----A big 97, like kissing a sister.

Love the way you tell the story!

I got out both Sat and Sun this weekend after hibernating for two weeks.
I was glad to get 10 coins, of course I was in the water of a well hunted area.
Thanks for explaining a "Century" 32 years detecting and never heard of one.
So much to learn and so many places to detect with so little time!
Dream on...

83 coins is my best finds in one day, but hope to have a century under my belt one day. Thought I might get to go dirt fishing today, but Mama passed out on me this morning. Didn't know my cooking was that bad. I got permission to metal detect this old spot about 40 miles from where I live, but can only go on Mondays starting in November when they are closed. Hope to have lots of century days at this old spot if it hasn't been hammered to bad. It's isolated and just one way in and one way out. Think I'll wrap everything I have in hunter orange. It will be the season around November and I have high expectations of this spot. Take care of that knee, Leslie. You have lots more century days ahead of you.

Good one Leslie..
