Busy past week with no detecting since the tic incident. French Dave and his daughter Marie Rose were up for a visit but the weather was too bad and they...too busy to do some detecting. Nice visit with everyone eating well and French Dave's daughter winning an Acadian baking contest! Of course FD left me with a present.....a white Garrett hat to add to my collection.Thanks French Dave.

Finally got out today after work and they got me good. Who is they? Darn black flies were swarming me by the park side lake. Hope the blood sucking vampires over dose on my blood pressure, pain or stomach pills!

Anyway 3 spots later I got "it." "It" being quota totaling $9.95 which will be added to the "Going back to the UK sometime or other Fund."

Garrett CDC was humming and looking forward to the new coil for the Pro which set me back $206 and due to arrive sometime next week!

Nice visit with friends and family, new hat and made quota. WTG Leslie. I planned a brief detecting trip at a local park while the ford place was servicing my Mama's car, but it came up such a storm. While talking to the service manager about my aborted plans, he informed me the ford place used to be an old homestead and later a bowling alley and I could detect the two strips of grass that were not covered up with asphalt. Best deal of the day and maybe next week I will take him up on that offer.
