:canadaflag:The dig that almost wasn't

The precursors were there as I awoke after working yet another night shift. Physiological waste land. The pro was put in the trunk. A sudden thought ; no desire hit me to visit my Dad who had surgery last week. Nice visit. Started the trek again going via Highway 101 and there she was behind the wheel. She pulled to the left lane and overtook me only to be stuck behind another car. A few miles down the road and I overtook her. At this time I noticed she was talking on a cel phone. She headed to the left lane again but not as quick as I. I kept pace with the car in the right lane for the next few miles effectively blocking her in.....why.....just because. During this time several checks in the rear view mirror confirmed that she was still on the cel phone. Next thing I see is her waving her noncelphone hand cutting through the air like a conductor of the Philadelphia Harmonic Orchestra. I immediately relented considering that my detector was in the boot and over took the right hand car making the way clear for her to pass . The evil eye. I'm sure she was yelling at me in a language I'm sure I would not under stand. While at the same time glad her burka didn't slip down over her eyes. While going by a mystery was solved as I noted a booster seat occupied the front seat with a rugrat in it......the third hand on the wheel?

Payed too much attention to her with no attention directed on the road and hit a pothole on the off ramp that once again unhinged Nogo's passenger side front quarter panel. I pulled over to the side of the road . Like a dislocated shoulder I just popped Nogo's panel back into place.

Nice to be in the park walking amongst the woods and camping sites. Not really caring if any targets were heard from. Quota not had.

Driving back at my usual 10 kms over the speed limit I noticed that everyone was on my rear end waiting for a passing area so that they could get ahead of me to be first behind the next car, first to the next stop sign or the next set of traffic lights. An eyeball find at the park flashed before my eyes!

Did get stuck behind a lady driver on Sackville Drive who one could tell had a lot on her plate...............truly did enjoy it in fact at every stoplight!
Everyone should have an opinion and causes to support!

Thanks for posting some nice finds and good report of your day. My trips down the road have as yours on occasion become a time for me receiving the one digit instructions from those that share the road with me. Maybe they are football fans and are signifying our team is number one.
