From the land of the Bluenose.....Navy Davy and I did the dew the other day at Flying Bra Island on a rather crisp and overcast day!

The walking was hard and the coins few. ND ended up with 20

and I a mere dozen plus a very stiff and sore knee. Little did I now that this escapade would keep me couch bound for a tad!

So for the next few days I was a couch potato and then Marie started with the tree decorating. Of course I supervised from my "office chair" giving her hints on where to put the ornaments. Think I gut under her skin a bit as she said,"Why don't you go out for a while and leave me alone to do this?" Didn't have to ask twice as I hobbled out the door.

Hit a few playgrounds which were easy to do but still managed to agrivate my knee and called it quits after 73 coins and a junk ring.

Of course it was back to the couch to suffer in silence at least till Marie said"I told you so. Stay off of that leg!"

It was worth it! From agony to ecstasy and back to agony!

I gots me a bummer knee too, started out to be a temporary problem, now looking more long term arth-wrongus ! I'm quite colour co-ordinated now though, a black cap, black truck, black ( new ) 3 speed bike and ...... a black cane for the last 4 months or so.

Now, here is the advice; myself, I'll keep the gimp stick, even if the knee magically gets better, it is a great accessory ! People tend to get outta my way, most hold doors open for me, they will rush to pick up whatever I may have dropped; its great balance tool, and keeps yappy little dogs at bay ! At the mall, for AM coffee, a buddy will hie himself over to McM's, to fetch me a refill. Yep, that stick is haanndy, go get one today !

All spelling errors are mine and are intended; my last English teacher can't give me any grief now !
