A famous warrior of the world's oceans once said "Dam the torpedoes and full steam ahead' where in recent times a domestic digger said "Dam the housework I'm going digging" invoking the possibility of the wrath of the Hunny Bunny.

Today was such a day with a window of opportunity that spanned from low tide till high. Hit a local park and eyeballed a few golf eggs and my first "Robin" of the year. Spring must be close. Today was a stroll down memory lane as I was retiring my digging jacket of over 25 years. It was naked. No Canadian flags on the shoulders,no Nova Scotian flag, no team Garrett patch, no Man U , no Montreal Canadians patch over my heart.

Thanks again Navy Davy for the new camo jacket. The retired one I had gained from a military policeman from Windsor Park with whom I traded one of my old police parka....eons ago.

Kind of cold and wasn't long before my feet froze and Niagara nose was running freely. Scoffed a few pennies and a musket ball before the incoming tide forced the end of the dig. Just didn't realize how much I missed the hunt...................the little spry lad had replaced the aged digger for a tad.

Braved the cold, frigid day to rid yourself of the cabin fever and get some hunting done! Congrats on the newer jacket and finding something! You're braver than lots of detectorists! :) Ma
