:canadaflag:Quota with silver in under an hour...I'll be damned!

From the land of the Bluenose.....awoke at 2pm after my last night shift and immediately before my feet hit the floor the thought was running through my
head....dig.....must dig holes! Dam making the bed. Dam doing the dishes and double dam on doing the housework. So after a quick tea I started to head out the door when ........the phone rang so like a rookie that goes detecting in steel toed boots I answered the call. "Time and a half!"

"Be right in Boss." So much for the dig on my day and a half off.

Next morning awoke at 11am after a gruelling night shift and headed out to a spot that a fellow at work said was an old stage coach stop which turned out to be so overgrown even a weed wacker couldn't get through but along that stretch of road I did see an old closed school so what the halibut!

Of course I had a small window of opportunity to dig....more like a portal in a humming bird house so I dug at a rabbit pace netting 54 coins totaling $1.14 with only two coins 4 coins newer than 1968 in under an hour with a dinkie and 1960 dime. Would like to have had more time put domestic and family duties were a calling.

Had to head to Maw's as both my parents down with illnesses. On the way had to stop and take a photo of this place which I plan to buy when I win Lotto 649 in the year 2099!

Arrived at Maw's to see two sorry looking souls. Son of a sea horse this sculpin looked a tuna more huggable than they!

Of course the big news was they were feeling better and that my brother had returned from a trip to Israel and had dropped off a couple of gifts for Marie and I. Not my idea of a place for a vacation but his wife is from there. Rick must have "seen the light" by the "blessed" gifts we received!

And of course this photo that doubles as Jesus when moved. Marie put that in our bedroom.........ummmmmmmm a real mood setter!

a velvet painting of Elvis alongside Mother Mary should make things right.....partially your bedroom walls too y'know.
That sculpin looks like a formidable mouthfull for a tasty lingcod.
Love those dreaded night shifts. On my way to the last one of the week in just a few moments. Oh well, it is only for twelve hours.
Another nice posting so thank you for taking us along on your hunt.

Nice posting. Yo Les, why don't you just post your pics to the forum?
