It is with heart felt sorrow that I have to announce the death of 2 of my beloved Garretts. They served me well and after 25 years they have succumbed to old age, over usage and the elements. They had signed donor cards so that shafts, battery clip bars, coils, coil covers may help other Garretts to live and lead a productive life. They are survived by One Freedom 3, Two Freedom 3 Plus, Seahunter MK11 ,AT Pro and the Bluenoser..

No flowers please but donations can be send to the National Digaholics Recovery Center in Hubbards, Nova Scotia. Burial will take place on Friday....garbage day!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I do believe the shaft & armrest will fit newer models of the Garrett line; such as the 1300 series.

Looks like Garretts left behind many detecting companions....old detectors like old folks do stop working like they once did and go into the burial grounds when they've no more life within them, but you still have many more to go with! Ma

As a fellow Nova Scotian I have to remind you that you are prohibited by Law to throw any electronic waste item in the garbage and it must be recycled at an E-waste depot.
Clear Bag, Blue Bag, One Black or Green Bag, E- Waste and Compost is your head spinning yet.
