From the land of the Bluenose.....well Marie suggested.....and very strongly that I clean the spare bedroom where I house my detecting gear and finds. So that I did and in the process going through my junk bucket.

Could say I was out of the dog house and being spoon fed or be like ET and phone home.

Must say my visit today to the surgeon was not a good experience. He has the bedside manner of the Grinche and I felt like a side of beef in a meat processing plant. Well on the bright side I was close to the youngest of 50 in the waiting room!

Nice lot you got going there, Leslie! When is your surgery scheduled? I've had some decent doctors in my time looking back, and a few that shouldn't have gone into that profession. I ask a few questions to see if they got the "gift" or not...no more so than when a guy says he can fix your car...does he have the gift? I had one surgeon, young fella, gonna operate on my inner ear, a very delicate and micro surgery...anyway, he was missing all his fingers on both hands at the first knuckle! So during consutation, I asked him how'd you lose your fingers? he said he was born that way, then I asked what micro surgery had he done lately he was proud of, and he said he did an 8hr inner brain surgery yesterday that was a success, so I figured he had the gift, and he did! He had a natural handicap that he overcame, a great reputation, really good at what he did for a living, so I let him cut on me with complete confidence.
Mud.
