Leslie I ran into a lady in the park a few weeks ago using a Freedom ace that she has had for over 25 years. It looked brand new and she has 2 of them and has been using them all this time. She likes the Freedom better than any of the detectors she and her husband have. Your not the only guy around that likes them....Happy Trails....Z
