From the land of the Bluenose.....Sunday was a busy and fun day as Marie finally got her wish and all those eyeball and detecting finds were removed from the spare bedroom and my father's storage shed. Two car loads of things I had dragged home from digging. Set up in Mount Uniacke before the sun came up and headed home hours later $179 richer.

A sign painter I am not!

Anyway today Navy Davy picked me up in his brand new white Nissan. Nice ride and fully loaded..which I wish I was! First stop was the golden arch for mud, breakfast sandwiches and to chew the fat with some fellow blue bouys!

From there it was a smooth ride to the beach where ND cleaned up on the loot hitting the high side of the beach area while I was stumbling around the water line. Told Navy Davy that my knee was starting to bother me so he said he would give me a new one.....and he handed me this....smart ar$e!

Didn't know if her was being sarcastic, humorous or trying to break into the "stand" up comedian circut!

Flying vampires were out in full force and after an hour we "DDed " out of there for the button hole.

Once there we dug away with the only thing of note was Navy Davy's 93 Regimental button. Dark clouds started to come our way along with thunder and lightening. We just left in time as not 2 minutes later hail and rain started bouncing off his new car. Navy Davy headed to the underside of the nearest overpass where we sat till the hail subsided.
"I may have found the 63rd button but I'm sure my wife's boot will be bouncing off my butt 63 times after she finds out I had the new car in a hail storm" said ND! At times like this I would love to be a fly on the wall at his place.

Couldn't get a photo of ND's finds due to the weather but he stated he would post them later.

Here is my meager finds for the outing!

Of course a few eyeball finds were dragged home for the next flea market!

Oh joy!

Extra leg may come in handy...lol..Good clad finds.

At least now you'll "Have a leg Up" on the competition so don't feel "Blue"!! Congrats on the sale, extra money is always good!!
