Have owned this great machine since it first came on the market. Noticed that while in the Dominican this time she worked great on the wet sand and in water till I hit my mid chest.....at that time she would flase about evry moment on a long sort of dragged out target sound. tried all adjustments I could think of. What else can I try before it ahs to go back to Garrett? tHANKS IN ADVANCE AND HAPPY HUNTING!

I wonder if you are hitting a different make up of the bottom at that depth? I have a mark 11 that I don't use any more because it can't handle the hot rocks here. I do have problems with it now though. It's on and off, but it has something to do with the switch when turning it on. Sometime it works and sometimes not. I cannot rely on it so it stays on the shelve. I use an atx now.
