From the land of the Bluenose...just a few photos of the finds from my UK trip. Everything from circa 50AD to modern as the venues from dig to dig varied. Have been approached to write an article for a UK treasure mag which was unexpected....working on it!

Looks like you had a great trip. Those are some good looking finds. What machine did you use? We've been missing your posts. Glad you are back safe and sound and the best of luck on your article. HH :garrett::minelab::tesoro:

:usaflag:Very nice finds !! Looking forward to hearing how you found them, especially the gold one.

Congrats Leslie some good items found.
That gold is the prize one for your effort.

Fantastic finds my dear bud. Really looking forward to your post about your hunt. Sure wish I could have joined you. What an exciting and anticipating hunt that must have been. Can't wait to hear and see about it.

Find of a lifetime. I'd like to read more about the old gold and silver coins for sure. Maybe you could post a little something. Be careful about putting into writing that you broke any laws in the UK. They have some very weird rules concerning old treasure.

You had a fantastic trip and I'm sure we would all like to know more about the details of the trip and the individual hunts that you attended. Well done me buoy!!!:clapping::cheers:

Hey it's his scribing, he can share it with whomever he wishes. Friend of mine turned all his published articles into a book and has made a couple of hundred grand or more off of it to date. I been thinking of the same thing with the 400-500 articles I have out there but can't seem to get the lead out. It's a lot of work and time.

My hope was that he could post the article on this and a few other forums. Unfortunately, when you submit an article for publication, the owners of the magazine become the owners of the publishing rites for the article in most cases. More so this is true when they pay the writer for the article. This is what is found on the Editor's page of W & E. "All rights reserved on entire content; nothing may be reprinted in whole or in part without the expressed written permission of the publisher. All contents copyrighted 2010" I can't see them not giving permission to the writer but .......

I have also had an article published, as have many others in our hobby. Leslie is probably one of the most published Canadian :canadaflag: detectorists. Great story teller he is.
