Scott and I got up early today to participate in today's "DETECT OLYMPICS". USA competitors Skillet and BCD decided a meet with the Garrett Gals at an undisclosed location instead, so Scott and I won by default.
But....that wasn't good enough for us! The true sportsmanship traits which we both have forced us to grab our Garrett's (Scott + Infinium/John + GTI 2500) and try and skunk our no-shows! We did some pre-workouts and stretches, then began our hunt. We took the challenge of only hunting on land, thus giving the advantage to our no-shows for getting a gold and silver.

Here's Scott digging his first hole. You got to remember that Scott is using his Infinium, so he opted to use his 18" blade drain shovel. The photo on the right shows Scott with something in his hand. What could this be???? You will have to wait until Scott posts his hunt pics.

We hunted 5 hours in the blazing sun, and finally decided to call it a day. I so badly wanted the Canadian Team to win that I dug every signal.

My final results gave me a nice silver with an opal and....another unsilver kind of ring for luck!
There will be lots of celebrations in Edmonton tonite
