:canadaflag:Few more from the "Book of Dug Coins"

From the land of the Bluenose.....since it is a slow time of year I'll post a few more from my book of dug coins. Amazes me still after all these years at the hobby how certain coins find their way here to Nova Scotia.

The Austrian one was easy as it was found in front of the old Hotel Nova Scotia park after they had to remove a foot of top soil to resod after an infestation of the brown beetle. Near this spot is Pier 21 famous as an entry point for immigrants into Canada.

The Newfie 50 cent piece was found along a path circling Lake Banook whereas the ancient came from a path around a Dartmouth lake (3 in same hole). Enjoy. Having a spammer attack my own website and is dam right annoying!
