From the land of the Bluenose.....dishes are done. The clock ticks! Spaghetti sauce made..clock ticks! Can't stand it. As Popeye that famous bouy once said; "That is all I can stands and I can't stands no more!" Bud is the aanswer! By the way what was the question?

With the walls closing in thought of a post that may have never been done....internet coins! Ones that we win in contests on metal detecting forums, are sent by friends or we trade for so here goes. Enjoy the rantings of a mad man....enjoy I say ...Enjoy.......hahahhahah!

I must confess, I have been doing it too... since I can't seem to find the $%^%&^$& things myself!! I picked up an 1856 Large Cent ( 00-27 on the SE Pro ), 1863 Indian ( 08-13 ), 1908 Indian ( 07-26 ), 1867 2 Cent ( 06-27 ), 1853 silver 3 cent piece ( 07-24 ), 1867 nickel 3 cent piece ( 11-01 ), and an 1854 Half Dime ( 07-26 ). I have used them along with 1858 Flying Eagle Cent ( 08-14 ), 1943 War Nickel ( 09-09 ), 1867 Shield Nickel ( 10-06 ), 1964 silver Rosie ( 03-28 ), 1964 Washington Quarter ( 00-28 ), 1920 Liberty Half ( 00-28 ), and a 1922 Peace Dollar ( 00-24 ) to generate the "Old Coins" pattern in Andy's book. Maybe when the weather starts acting right here I can use it to FIND MY OWN!!! HH Joe

Great collection of coins and tokens guys !!

Les, the legend is that the Indian profile on the U..S. 1913-1938 nickel is a composite of at least three men, two of them old guys who fought Custer at the Little Big Horn: Iron Tail (Oglala Lakota , aka "Sioux"), and Two Moons (Northern Cheyenne) and a guy named Two Guns White Calf, a Blackfoot. So your Indian is a sure-enough buffalo hunter.
