:canadaflag:century: a trunk full of detectors

From the land of the Bluenose.....headed out early this morning with Serendipity Steve in tow. Rain was called for but held off during our dig. Donna May's trunk was filled to the gills with tools of the trade!

Hit a few spots with nothing special being found save for this nice intact brooch that SS found.

Dug about 3 and half hours and called it a day. Here is SS's pile .

As for the Bluenoser a century of 145 coins @ $14.69. So ends the dog tag streak!

Good clad finds on both your parts.

Get a pair of shaft locks for your ATP:starwars:

From the land of the Bluenose.....thanks and a good idea. hardly ever use it though and perfer my freedom 3 Plus machines. Happy hunting.

It's hard to give up an old machine and get used to the new kid on the block. Familiarity with the old one is hard to overcome, but you will be glad you did when you finally give them up. If it's the DD coil that is giving you fits, you might try a 5 x 8 which hardly reports the dreaded bottlecaps or the 6 x 9, which works quite nicely, although you lose the great seperation of using a DD. I've gone thru the seperation thing many times, it gets easier after awhile. I still drag out an old Freedom Ace Plus for a hunt every now and again, just for the fond memories.
