:canadaflag:Button Hole:Navy Davy finds a 5 silver spill

From the land of the Bluenose.....another early start to avoid the heat. This time we explored more of the lowered lake which seemed littered with 3 ringers, musket balls and a variety of other projectiles.

The going was rough and at one point I thought I had lost ND to the mud. Man did he have to struggle to get out. Looked as bad as a deer caught in a set of headlights...me I would have been still stuck in the mud!

Shortly thereafter Navy Davy hit the honey hole which netted him 5 silver coins as well as a copper and big 5 nickel. What a glory hole!
ND's take from the button hole which of course included 3 buttons.

My take was a 1917 large cent and a silver St. Christopher medal

two great hockey pucks and bits and bobs

That is one nice find in that silver.
