Navy Davy was in heaven as his grand children were up for a visit so this bouy went solo. Decided to do a dig/visit trip to the Windsor area. Since I was out so early a stop at playing field seemed the thing to do. Grabbed the Freedom 3 Plus and merrily swung in a light snow with a strong wind. Was triple bagged so the weather was not a factor. Had fixed the Freedom 3 Plus the night before and she performed admirably considering she hates the cold. Thirty minutes later I was done with a fair haul including a junker ring that upon closer examination turned out to be silver.

Knocked at the door and out came Makingholes who is semi retired from digging. We chatted up reminiscing about our past digs together. Hopefully if his health improves we can once again do the dew.

Next a visit to Saundra which necessitated 3 cups of tea. Next door then to Cheryl and Winn's and three more cups of tea. Quite a few years ago did an article for W&E Treasure mag on her place. Another hour long chat. All yaked out I started part two of my days dig grabbing the Pro out of the trunk. Mister man what a view from Winn's place. Photo does not do it justice!

Wasn't long before, musket balls, buttons, a nice crotar bell and toasty tokens came my way. Dug till the knee stiffened up, Let Cheryl take her picks of the finds, said good bye and headed home.

Got home to an empty abode. Marie had gone to visit her sister and Cheeka Baby Girl who always has a nice wet kiss for me when I visit!

By the way it's Marie's parents(Bill and Donna) 56th anniversary today..........................congrats!
