From the land of the Bluenose.....after a trip into the hospital with Marie to see her specialist we both left feeling better!

With only a week until we are on vacation in Puerto Plata I was a tad antsy so Marie cut me loose for a few hours as she and her sister went out shopping and for a quick tanning session.

Day before payday and Otto was sucking fumes so I stayed close to home and hit a local park...one with a great view!

A few folks around enjoying the great warm day which made the soil ripe for making holes which I did at a most rapid pace while admiring my surroundings to the left

Was using a new hunting knife that I bought three of for $10 and should have known! On coin number 65 the "Made in China" knife broke in two. Darn just getting into the groove at that point and didn't have a backup digger so that put a kabash on digging my first century of the year!

Next dig I'll bring my old faithful knife that has served me well but like me is getting a tad dull in it's old age.

Driving out the road just had to stop and take a photo of this beauty who seems to be following me on digs.

Take for the day was 65 coins at an even $4 and a Bedford School pin.

Nice score as usual Les. As far as the knife, well, you get what you pay for.

Yeah, when it comes to tools (and knives) a good one for $10 will beat three for 10 most days.
But you still got a nice pile of 'coinage' for the time spent.
