From the land of the Bluenose.....took Marie out for a drive on Saturday when I noticed something was amiss! Every lake we drove by was ice free. A fiendish plot developed in my frontal lobe.

Sunday came and Marie was off to a hen's party. Can just imagine what games were played and the flow of estrogen in that room! Lord love a duck.

Got sort of unglued sitting around the house looking at the four walls closing in. Even playing scrabble on line did little to ease my plight. In an instant I grabbed the Seahunter bag and threw it into Donna May's trunk. Otto at present is very ill and awaiting a new heart. Can just see the dollar signs floating in front of the eyes of the mechanic who will be replacing the fuel pump. I see , in front of my eyes fewer pints of Guinness sliding down my throat on my next UK trip.

Couldn't drive by a Tim's. Stopped by for a cup of joe and a chance to "Roll up the rim to win" or as in my case "Please play again."

Hit a local lake where the only thing that was local was me. Even the ducks that were practising their aborted landing and take offs gave me a wide birth as I was in a "fowl" mood.

Sure was nice to be swinging again and to hear that sweet purr of my Garrett which was occasionally interrupted by a signal...penny...penny penny! Then a nice 925er that will be the starter for my new ring necklace. A nice dry run for my upcoming Dominician trip.
