From the land of the Bluenose.....Navy Davy and I met up at a local park and did the dew in the wet dew. From there we again did the dew in a tot lot...much drier. After copious amounts of pennies we moved to a playing field and finished our hunt off there. Must admit ND was rearing to go but after a few hours my knees gave out. Sure Navy Davy could have hit a century today but had to settle for 74 coins.

Today also marked the very first quota I have had with my AT Pro. 62 coins =$5.49

You did really good - yes the old knees will act up after so many digs - I usually will take a few aspirins on my way to a detecting site. Plus I will try and take a few sit down breaks now and then. Best of luck your way.

Good return for your troubles on the bad knees.

Nice hunt, Les! I hear 'ya re: knees. For me, it's a sciatica (lower back) issue, but I've been lucky to hunt places where I can swing for a while, then dig bottles & stuff for a while.

Nice hunt, nice to have lots of targets.

Sorry if this is a dumb question--what do you mean by meeting quota?

From the land of the Bluenose....here we call a quota 50 coins, 100 A century and 200 bihi on single dig. Local lingo sir.
