From the land of the Bluenose.....hit the 102 and linked up with Johnnie D who I have not hunted with since the last Big Dig on the East Coast Digger's Forum.

We both dug a ton of garbage but the view made up for it.

Johhnie D hit a penny and like I a mound of lead.

Detected near the edge where the tidal bore comes in and thought it was cool seeing the low tide.

Hit 2 coins for the day. 1859 and 1864.

Well me son iffen I was after quota today I would make it home in say about....3 years especially since I was swinging the Pro instead of my vintage Freedom 3.
Neat thingie and not sure what it is but is a tad ornate.

Well, I'd take a couple of ~!50 year old beauties over a sack of modern junk anytime! Plus, a beautiful place, a nice day and a buddy to hunt with, sounds like a great day to me!!

Wonderful day and great finds. I'd love to find some coins that old. 1901 IH penny is oldest so far. Good friends to share with is the best treasure there is. HH
