[/quote]Thanks Scully,you are right,no super tune on this thing! tejon has preset threshold in disc mode and the threshold on the tejon is only used for all metal and ground balancing.Took on a test run, so far it is pretty close with vaquero,the tejon seems more finicky setting threshold,is nice to change tones.Charles of Charlestown S.C.
The Tejon is the first detector owned that could not be turned on inside, this thing is picking up the dam door knob half way across room,I need ghost hunters to check this crazy detector out!, is this thing ok!, threshold is Boonkers on this rodent,did do ok in test field-harder to ground balance than vaquero-threshold is harder to set than vaquero-disc checked good,did find missed key other detectors missed and a deep shot gun shell missed by other detectors-tone change is nice-once unit is ground balanced it is a fast turn on and go power house!-Actually ran in lowest threshold setting and it worked great even in all metal with lowest threshold setting,threshold has no effect on this detector in disc mode,turn sensitivity switch on and go!.-don't think about even turning on a tejon on inside the house,picks up everything and electric lines.
