Can You Hear Me Now

I am looking for a good quality set of headphone to use with my Tesoro Cibola to hear all the ''subtle signals''.
What do I look for as far as frequency, impedance, and all that good stuff?. There seems to be many to choose
from. Thanks

Well I'm not sure if I got the best headphones but when I got my Cibola I also ordered a pair of the standard Jolly Rogers and they seem to work fine to me.

There are a lot of good headphones and preferences.
I kind of like the Koss QZ 99 headphones. For me they quiet outside noise, are comfortable except when it gets hot in the summer, then they are a bit warm. They have a clean crisp response in the range that the detector produces. They are efficient so you can get as much volume as you want and can also turn it down to levels you like. If you use them to listen to your stereo, they aren't so good on the bass response. Don't even try to listen to a pipe organ with them. New, they can be delivered to your door for around $40. For metal detecting, only thing I don't like is that the cord is a little too long. A couple of wraps around the detector shaft takes care of that.

try a set of Sunray Pro Gold headphones. I think most of the high dollar headphones are good phones but the Sunrays always seem to get good reviews. I got a pair last summer and they are nice.
