I found a hammer with what I believe is Japanese characters on it. There are more pictures in the thread. I could sure use some help by someone that could read Japanese.

Just a suggestion.You have a PC,so why not just send your pictures to some Japanese Company or,some school that teaches language.Ask if they can interpret it for you.
 
If the Chineese used that to drive railroad spikes, I feel sorry for them...:unsure:
Someone on here must know some chineese or Japaneese
