Can You Date This Spoon???

Erik in NJ

New member
Found this spoon that I believe is pewter in the same area as my prior post. It appars quite old (see how the round stem is attached)...it's crumbling and I may have broken the stem during recovery, which I didn't realize till after I cleaned it up with soap and water. Thanks or any ID help:

Hey my baby spoon, where was it???:clapping: Just kidding Erik.. I'm not a relic hunter but have been finding a few pieces of history and thought I might check out what all relic hunters had to show. This is my first time in this forum..

I've dug a few spoons and chest corner guards and keep it all. My latest find is what we believe to be a coffin decoration or lid pull to a coffin. It's pretty cool and I think I get more excited over relics than I do coin.

Nice find and I couldn't begin to date it. HH

She's not my type, Erik. Lol. I don't have a clue to the date, but at least I still have a sense of humor. Nice find.
