Can this battery pack be charged

Can this 8.4 volt nimh battery pack be charged all at once. The wires are connected to the 9v. terminals on the nimh charger. I charged it twice, seems to work, but would like to know if any of the batteries would overcharge, or any other negative consequences. Thanks, Dave

I use old cordless telephone chargers on all my batteries, like 8 AA's in my musky, leave it plugged in all the time, the transformer/charger says 9.0 volts but puts out 11.50 volts, works great for me, use it on my r/c cars too, all batteries seem to charge identical amount, i don't think you have to worry, cordless phones are plugged in all the time for years and they never overcharge, and they just have 3 small 1.5 v batteries, , that's what i do :detecting:

Bugar, thanks for the info. I will add the eigth battery to the pack and remove the jumper wire. This pack is clipped to the bottom of my detector, replaces the single 9 volt. Adds a little weight but works well. Thanks, Jabbo

Usually they have several, people take em in cause the phone broke or they got a cell phone, usually they run fifty cents, never paid over a dollar for one, they work great on all the nimh i have used em on, good luck, all my homemade batterypaks are 8, 1.5AA batteries, either in holders or wired together:detecting::usmc::usmc::usmc::usaflag:
