Can the SE be this easy?

It sure has been a long cold and boring winter here in Iowa!! I have found most of my research notes and have been reading Andys book and the factory manual for my Explorer SE. Am I correct that the settings that I last used on the machine will load when I turn it back on? If that is a fact this will be a great machine in the field! I have very few hours on it and can't wait to get back out there!!

I don't have the se but have used the xs and the II and both of them kept the settings when you turned it back on.

Thanks! My reading and retention skills are a little off yet from the neurosurgery I had in December.

It will keep your settings, but just remember that when you power up your machine to not hold the power button down too long or you will lose your settings and your machine will go back to the factory settings. GL & HH.

Hi Ted...........

Good to hear your on the road to recovery.. Yep, just press the power button. DON"T HOLD IT DOWN !! and all settings will be retained..

Thanks everyone! Can't wait to get out if this snow ever melts! I can't think of a better way to get my strength built back up. I found a new hunting buddy that has a CTX 3030. He used to have an E-trac and will help me in the field. Just wish I could figure out that map overlay!
