I plan on getting an X70 for prospecting and all 'round use.. which includes wading. It would be nice to have the control box hip/chestmounted to avoid water damage (splashes/waves). Has anyone looked into extending the coil cable? I know it can be done with many other detectors with short cables, but am not too sure if the extra resistance and such would wreak havoc with the electronics. Anybody? ...Willy.
