if Tesoro made a pre-umax 4" coil with a long coil cable? If they did, then I'm looking for one for my Pantera if anyone has one they'd like to sell.

Don't know about the long cable, but it's my understanding that the earlier coils and the umax coils are interchangeable.

but, regardless, I have never seen one with a long cable. Are you hanging it on your belt?

Yes, I hipmount my Pantera and the UMax coil cables just aren't quite long enough. I know I could use an extension but I don't care for them much. Thanks.

You can special order coils with longer cables from your Tesoro dealer. They dont cost any extra but you do have small waiting period from the factory.
