Hi all
I found out a couple of months ago, just how fast I can swing my X-30. I was swinging it in my son's school(got to get permission here in oz, or you can get arrested), in a bit of a rush to cover the ground and found that when I went over some of the ground, about 30yds, and found that I was missing coins. After a bit of experimenting, I found that if you swing it much faster than about one and a half seconds in each direction, you loose what ever passes under the outer coil.Moral to the story; when all else fails, read the instructions!
Happy hunting
Mick Evans.
Oops!
Forgot to clarify. Did get permission, just in a rush to cover the ground. End result. After one and a half days in there, only about $70 (mostly $1 and $2 coins) and a penny and my first half penny. Pretty ordinary for the time spent, but I guess that will improve with time.
P.S.
took it to Sydney at Xmas, doing the family thing and found $195 over a five day period.Getting better, but haven't got to swing it to much since. Better get cracking on that.
Happy hunting.
