Can someone please ID this for me??

Hey Bryce!

That's an interesting find. At first glance I thought it looked like a pocket watch, but that doesn't appear to be the case. Maybe a key fob?

I see the number 10 on one side...what's on the other?

I have the same item in my collection. I picked it up years ago. It is about the size of a penny and mine is valued at $2.50. It appears to have been gold plated at one time. I have been trying to figure this one out for some time. Hopefully someone will be able to shed some light on these.

Just guessing guys, but if you took yours to the local Fraternal Order of the Eagles F.O.E.club in your community or a larger city, someone there might be able to help you. Looks to be a fob or part of a key chain. Things like these are given to members for recruiting new members or for years of service to the group. Talk to some long time members as the design of such items changes over the years.

Bryce - I see you're into Harley's. That's not a screaming eagle, is it?

Seriously...could it have been the lower part of a clock's pendulum?

it is NOT a game counter...A game counter is used in such games as "Magic the Gathering" to keep track of your life point total...

HH,

It's part of an award for 10 years of Metal detecting service..Here's you're award..:laugh:Kind of like the man that worked at 1 company for 40 years and all he got was a crummy ole watch...Nah. but really looks like some kind of medal that would be attached with a ribbon.Just guessing tho

Does definitely look like a 10 year service award of some type...Boy Scouts maybe, or millitary, or that order of the Eagle group???

HH,
