Can someone explain the iron audio and discrimination?

Looking for how it works?. At what depth is the discrimination good for? I had the Infinium and steel beer caps sound High/low . Other iron targets also sound good. I do like the iron check at a button push away. Thank for any info,Joe
 
Hi Joe...

The official manual gives the complete picture on how it works functionally ... I don't believe the technical aspects are well known outside of Garrett.
The manual is one of the first posts in this part of the forum....check it out.
