can sombody tell me what -pulse delay control

decided to break out my old whites pi to try in the ocean and seemed to have lost my manuel i cant remember what the pulse delay does and what setting i should use ? anybody know / reason im going to try the old whites was i have recovered gold chains with it in the past. ive been using my ecal 1000 which has been great on gold rings and helping not dig iron but havent found a gold chain with it , seems pulse works on chains thanks in advance jim

Hey Jim, I can't help you myself but, you can go to www.whiteselectronics.com and download the manual and print it out for your machine. Hope this helps!!

hi mike thanks seems the newer surf pi did away with the pulse delay and cant find the manuel on the surf pi i have but thanks for the site HH JIM

Turn the pulse delay control until the unit just clicks on.
Then adjust the tuner until you can just hear the threshhold tone.
