Been keeping up on this detector since it came out. After reading all these post and seeing the performance of this thing had to give up and ordered 1 today. Just hope the weather clears up by the time I get it delivered. I hope my MineLab 705 does not get to upset and lonely. I have a feeling this AT is going to be my main detector when I learn how to use it. The MineLab can keep my 250 company.

Glad you have one on the way!! Hope you find alot with it, I am intrigued with this detector myself, I have an Ace 250 and ETrac and Excal and a SeaHunter Mark II so I am detector poor already. I would love to have the AT Pro but have too many already and I love and use all of them. Even owning the Etrac and Excal I still use my Ace250 and am impressed even more with it after owning the others. Yes the Etrac is superior to the Ace250 as it should be for the price, but the Ace250 cant be beat for a totlot hunt or volleyball courts and such, the Etrac is overkill for those situations. Also the Ace250 is awesome for when the lake levels are lowered and going over the dry swim areas for what I missed with the water detectors. It is so light and fun to use. I know with the quality of the 250 that the AT Pro has got to be an awesome machine and I have been on the verge of ordering one more than once, but I look at my overflowing detector closet and pull back from the edge. If I didn't own the Etrac and the Excal then I would definetly own the
AT Pro. Let us know how you do with it. Enjoy

That was a big attraction to me having a chance to get in the water with it. Got to keep the ace and 705 they have their place to.

To help knock you off the fence.......I have an Excal with a 12" SunRay and that AT Pro certainly can beat the pants off the Excal with the depth that it gets. Got quarters in FL last week at 18 inches. It has a nice meter that lets you know what is under the coil....pull tabs at 53......quarters at 85, double sounds and numbers.......junk! Excal can't do all that!

I also could not take it any longer. I ordered one last night and can not wait to start. It is my early birthday present, which is in May.

Hey BOBBIE! I love that picture of the cat with it's glowing eye's! That is awesome ! Cat's are the coolest!

Well, I had an Etrac and it wasnt suited for me, and I do have an Excaliber II, my AT pro and a whites surf PI pro and an Xterra 705. Of them all..the two I like the best is the AT and the Xterra. Just getting used to the AT after getting it back Garrett but have found it to be a deepseeking accurate and sturdy detector.
