Went for a solo spin today to the same area as yesterday. Was in the water by 445A, into a 711A -0.7L and NE winds at 5-10. The wind had the water pushed into this surf area, so it was a little higher than I had hoped for. I simply moved a little further west and set my buoys. I was not using them a lot today, but they were helpful for me to know where I was without a great deal of speculation. There are some pretty sweet guts between the bars in the mine. Real nice and firm, just the way I like it! Targets were coming in bucket fulls and I just kept hammering until the tide had come in almost all the way (418P 1.9H). I simply came shallower in the mine as the tide came in. The clad count was exceptional at $4.61 and target density was excellent overall. Unfortunately only 1 gold today, but 5 rings again(I don't count thumb/toe rings in my tally). Bailed at 2P and I'm pretty tired. I think I may sleep all night tonight!
