Can I use NiMH batteries in a Classic III SL?

I see only a Nicad battery pack being offered by White's for the Classic series. If NiMH can be used, what brand batteries and charger would be the best choice? Thank you, Roy
 
Yes you can. You can buy the Whites setup. You can buy the RNB LI ION setup up. If I was buying NIMH batteries I would get the Eneloop batteries they are low self discharge NIMH.
