Can I install a variable/fixed tone switch on an Original Sov?

and if so, what is the level of difficulty?

Can I make the change internally, if I can not install the switch, or does a dealer have to do something special to it?

Mine has the fixed audio now.

Not sure if it can be done with the original Sovereign or not, but cant see why you would want to as the tones ID is what makes the Sovereign so good I feel. I notice this was only on the XS2a and the Elite I believe and now no longer being used on the Sovereigns. I have a used XS2 that has this switch on it too that was done on those sold from Kellyco, but as soon as I open up the control box it will not have this switch anymore as I see no purpose for it.
