Hello All,
Found this while detecting... although marked .925 something tells me its not real... not a solid signal. I guess I won't know until I get it tested, total weight is 1 ounce, still a cool find does anyone know what the symbols are. I know Jesus and the cross but the ship wheel and anchor?
Thanks Rick

Appears obviously to be Nautical but, also very symbolic in thinking about it.
Jesus is the Anchor of my Life.
Nice find and I bet the lil pin is the only thing not silver. It appears to pass through the item and is not soldered on?
How big is it?

On a lighter side:
Cannot find an exact match but someone got a tattoo of it.

The anchor is also the sign of hope in Christianity.
With those dimensions I am going to guess it to be a Pin or Broach of some kind.
Dating it is going to be tougher.
You might try the "WhatizIt" forum down towards the bottom on the main menu of forums list.
Plenty of guys that love researching those kind of things and whoknows maybe someone already has seen one identical.

This is a Silver pendant... The Mexicans have The Virgin Guadalupe for safe passage at sea. What you have is the Catholic version of the same principle. Hope this helped... Cool Find...HH.

THE PIN MAY MEAN -JESUS SAVE ME ON THE SEA AS IN ETERNAL LIFE-I WOULD BET ON IT BEING
CAPTAIN OF THE SHIP MEDALLION---VERY NICE FIND
