Can anyone tell me if there is a longer lower rod for a CZ

I have been looking for a longer lower rod for my CZ-3D and haven't seen any. Watching that Florida fellow in his nice neutral soil, I noticed his lower rod looked about a foot longer than mine. He is covering twice the area I am with his sweeps and my back gives out bending over. Thought I would ask before starting to fabricate something on my own.

Thanks
Dan

Always used a regulation lower rod and its on the second hole and I am over 6 feet..Honestly never seen a longer lower rod or heard anything about one being available. I guess its time to call a Fisher dealer or Fisher themselves..I know we are all built different but never seen the need for one myself..Remember to last many hours with a CZ which many feel is heavy the arm must be fully extended to get the proper ergonomics..A short E-mail to Fisher will let you know quickly and can honestly see the need for a longer lower rod as many are much taller than I with different body measurements and most companies do offer a tall mans rod and if none available from Fisher perhaps a tall mans rod from another company may do the job with a little ingenuity...

Thanks for the reply, I already looked at a whites lower rod. The clevis isn't as thick as the Fisher. Would have to shim it up with washers, and afraid it wouldn't hold the angle well. I will continue to look, the Fisher site doesn't list one but did not talk to a rep. I have a bad back and trying to stand more up right and not slouch over
Dan.

If you buy one of the new universal lower rods from the new Fisher, you can adjust where the spring clip goes so you can have a longer lower rod. I hope that helps :)

Actually there is a longer lower rod but I don't know where/if they're still available. Got my used one from the forum a long while back. I'm not tall. I use mine on my CZ-20 to slide further up the middle rod to give me a more solid rod that wouldn't wobble when water hunting. Christopher-Ohio's universal rod recommendation sounds a good way to go.
